Ideas of the Quarter - Quarter 4, 2011

Margie McAndrews, Murrysville - Print the meat count tracking sheet on the back of the manager safe tempetarue checklist.

Maureen Grinnell, East York - Have Certified Safety Trainers along with having the Safety Committees.

Chip Gapshes, HO, and Bill Zinz, ER - Have removable labels for burgers and tips to transfer to tote or space saver to track product until it is used.

Tami Smith, HO - Have Server Introduction Sheets that introduce the Text Program.

Carol Wilson, Lewistown - When there is a small amount of a dessert, remove it from the container it is in, and put in a foam ice cream dish. Add a little whipped cream or some kind of topping. It will get used, no waste.

Donna Hutson, Chambersburg - Cut skillet cakes, brownies, and bread pudding into slices (wedges). Guests will not pick out the middle which results in the edges going to waste.

Kim McGinnis, Greensburg - Purchase and use Crayola Brand Window Markers to write on the salad bar windows and black chalkboards. These are each under $5, and last longer than the wet erase Expo markers we currently purchase for $30.
