Everyone needs a little support from time to time. Spring is often the time for new beginnings, but some people may still feel the affects of winter and seasonal affective disorder (SAD), a mood disorder associated with depression and related to seasonal variations of light. SAD affects half a million people every winter between the months of December and February, but symptoms can start in early fall and linger into the early months of spring.
